| The Gauteng Licensing Department has temporarily suspended its
centralised booking system, and as of 4 October 2010 - and until further notice - bookings need to be made at
your nearest testing station, until they've sorted out the current problems.
As a result, our Licence Bookings services is also on hold for now until these problems have been sorted out. The source of the current problems seems to be that that the call centre is being moved in-house, and will soon be managed by the Gauteng Shared Services Centre instead of a third party service provider, as is now the case. We have no idea how long this transition will take. Once the centralised booking system works again, we will strive to clear our current backlog ASAP, and will then open our service to new applications again. | |
