Can I use my own car for the driver’s test?

At most testing stations, you are allowed to use your own car. It is recommended that you use the same car for your lessons and for the K53 driver's test, if possible. But some testing centres will provide a car for you to do your test in. That is the case for the Langlaagte Testing Station in Johannesburg, for instance.

How long does the Drivers Licence test take?

The practical driver’s license test takes approximately 40 to 50 minutes to complete.
